MY MISSION
Since the beginning of time, stories have shaped our minds. They hold the power to transform the worldview of entire generations and act as catalysts in the evolution of consciousness. My mission is to create and share stories that empower, uplift and unite people. To inspire and awaken our common humanity and divinity through the written, spoken and performed word. To create cinematic experiences that foster powerfully positive perspectives, that transport and enchant, and that reimagine a more harmonious way of life.
All my work strikes a deep chord between philosophy (who we are, why we are here, where we’ve come from, and where we are going) and delightful and playful humour. For isn’t wisdom only meaningful if we can embrace all of ourselves, live from the heart, and laugh at ourselves often?!
My passion for innovative, soulful and exceptional storytelling is my channel to catalyze an audience’s process of self-luminosity, ignite universal compassion, and open the doors to understanding our fundamental unity. Ultimately, I believe that beauty is the portal through which we can create a more harmonious world.
I believe in creating a new story. One that deepens our connection to ourselves, to each other, to the universal classroom that is life and the human experience, and to the cosmos and our place in it.
MY STORY
Hi, I’m Giulia Eve Flores. I’m a Bolivian/Dutch NYC-born, Amsterdam-raised, London-trained actress, writer, producer, director, speaker, workshop facilitator, and nonprofit founder.
My love for meaningful storytelling bloomed early. By the age of 9 I was writing, producing, directing and performing in my own mini public performances in Amsterdam (in English, my third language). I spent most of my childhood training and performing with the National Youth Theatre of Amsterdam. My time there culminated at age 17 when I won the National Youth Theatre Contest’s First Prize for a deeply philosophical piece I had written, directed and performed.
I moved to London when I was 18 to study acting, writing and directing at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama (where I completed a 1-Year Diploma), the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain, the National Youth Film Academy, and the pioneering Fourth Monkey Actor Training Company (where I completed my BA (Hons) Accelerated Acting Degree on a full scholarship). During my 4+ years in London, I co-produced, co-wrote and performed in multiple original short films, as well as directed, devised and acted in 9 original 4-star review theatre productions in both London and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
While pursuing my artistic passions, I was struck by an unexpected and life-changing mystical experience at age 19 that completely transformed me and put me knee-deep on a path of self-realization. I moved back to NYC at age 22, where I spent most of my time acting. Back in the US, I also founded a nonprofit theatre company, the Conscious Performers Collective; an artistic ensemble which I trained and with whom I devised original theatrical pieces. We additionally facilitated transformational workshops in NYC, Philadelphia and New Jersey.
I wrote my first screenplay Becoming the One and found mentorship under Trina Wyatt, founder of the TriBeCa Film Festival and Conscious Good TV, and Barnet Bain, producer of Academy Award-winning What Dreams May Come and Emmy-nominated Homeless to Harvard. Becoming the One has won multiple accolades, including at the Austin Film Festival, Scriptapalooza, Launch Pad Feature Competition and Screencraft Feature Competition. Barnet Bain is currently attached to the project as a Director and I am in the process of securing funding for it.
I currently work at streaming network Gaia as an Associate Producer of Original Content, where I write, produce, MC live events, am a Voice-Over Talent for our original series and social media, as well as an on-screen talent for social media. On the side, I work as an actress and VO artist, freelance as a producer, and I’m also currently working on my second narrative feature screenplay.
